I loved From Hell, Johnny plays a mysterious character even though he's the good guy

*high fives GreenFairy* THANK YOU MUCH! See Ella? 40-some-year-olds are hot and fancy-able I think I made up a word... In any case, I just saw From Hell last night. Wow. That movie rooooooocks! I actually rented three Johnnay movies, From Hell, The Man Who Cried, and The Ninth Gate. Out of the three, I think I liked From Hell the best. ;D I adore Johnny's character in that, and my favorite part about his character is probably - hell, definitely - his accent! It's that sort of strong, British accent that they used in the slums of London. Brilliant. Reminds me of the accents we have to use at the moment in the play, "Oliver Twist." ^___^ Anyway, very sad at the end...I shed a few tears there. *sigh* And I was so surprised at who the killer was! My jaw just friggen dropped open! Awesome actors though: Johnny *duh*, Ian Holm, the guy who plays Hagrid in HP, whatever his name is... All in all, a great movie

Oh my rumness, that was freaky. And then Ian's character, Sir William, is having all these kind of flashback things, I think it's before they show him getting that "hammer treatment" thing done, and in one of the "flashbacks" or whatever, he's clasping his hands together with this look of...childlike rapture on his face...it freaked me out so bad. Amazing actor, that guy.

*grins* Oh yeah, props to the hobbit man. Hum, speaking of Bilbo...I got such a kick out of English class today. We were talking about tenses in writing ((my teacher was "lecturing" about staying in one tense when you write)), and she just went around the room randomly picking books that people were reading and then reading out of them to show the tense they were written in. So me and my friend Sarah jumped up and held out "The Hobbit" to her and she started reading that. For some reason, just hearing about Bilbo and the three trolls and Thorin in class was hilarious. Don't ask why, I really don't know.
